At Curt’s Guide Service, we’re here to ensure you have an unforgettable day on the water. Whether you're a seasoned angler or it's your first time crappie fishing, Curt will guide you through proven techniques to maximize your day on the lake and send you home with a cooler full of crappie and great memories.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

• Alabama Fishing License

• Cooler for your fillets

• Rain gear

• Sunscreen

• Photo-taking devices

All rods, reels, and other equipment will be provided.
Fish cleaning can be arranged.

What to Expect:

The Boat:

You'll be fishing from a Carolina Skiff, known for its stability, spacious layout, and smooth ride—perfect for a comfortable and productive day on the water. The wide, open design makes it easy to move around, ideal for techniques like long-line trolling, ledge fishing, float fishing, and Dock Shooting. Whether you're casting from the bow or reeling in a slab crappie from the side, the Carolina Skiff offers a safe and steady platform for anglers of all experience levels.

The boat features modern electronics including a Garmin 126sv LiveScope to locate fish quickly and efficiently. Also on board is a Minn Kota Quest ULTERRA which features enhanced GPS navigation to allow more concentration on fishing, and not fighting the wind or waves.

Fishing Equipment:

Curt uses top-quality rods, reels, and tackle—everything you need for long-line trolling, ledge fishing, float fishing, and dock shooting. You’ll get hands-on instruction whether you’re brand new or experienced.

Brands most frequently used on board are K9 Fishing Line, B’n’M Rods, St. Croix Rods, Charlie Brewer Slider’s, Slater’s Jigs & Rods, Engel Bait Coolers, Stan’s Slip Bobbers, and Crappie Magnet.

Faith and Fellowship:

Curt’s Guide Service is proudly faith-based. While fishing, Curt is happy to share his testimony and the message of hope that comes from Christ, guided by the theme "Fishers of Men."

Rates:

Daily rate is $450.00 for 1-2 persons and $150.00 for each additional person. Two-day minimum.

A $100.00 deposit is required for all trips and is non-refundable unless Curt’s Guide Service cancels the trip.
